Dighton youth are testing their ingenuity in KidWind Challenge

Cordell Davis and Westin Johnson carefully slide the three gears into place while two other team members are at a nearby table discussing the design of turbine blades.

He and four classmates are part of the BTU Crew preparing their entry for the annual KidWind Challenge sponsored by the Kansas Corporation Commission and the Kansas State University engineering department.
