Young archeologists investigate ‘dig’ site during Trunk Talk at the museum
The science of archeology and how a dig site can be a window to history were shared with youngsters during the first Trunk Talk held at the El Quartelejo Museum on Wednesday afternoon.
Trunk Talks, which feature historical items shared by the Kansas State Historical Society, will be held at the museum on the first Wednesdays and second Saturdays of each month for youngsters in the area
The second presentation of “Puzzles from the Past: Problem Solving Through Archeology” will be presented on Sat., Sept. 9, 1:30 p.m.
