The county’s policy regarding the removal of flowers from grave sites at the Scott County Cemetery came under fire at the county commission meeting on Tuesday.
Throughout this past year, the Scott Community High School senior class has experienced a long list of “lasts,” noted Alexis Powelson as she addressed those in attendance for last Saturday’s commencement ceremony.
The Scott City Learning Center, which for more than two decades has provided education opportunities for adults and high school students, will no longer exist after the current school year.
Scott Community High School will be awarding diplomas to 73 seniors during their graduation ceremony on Sat., May 18, 2:00 p.m., at the Scott Community Events Center.
