Scott City and the Kansas Department of Transportation have reached an agreement on extending an access road off west K96 Highway to a little used section of south Era Street on the west edge of town.

The annual spring clean-up in Scott City will be held from April 29-May 3. The pick-up schedule is: Monday: north of K96 Highway and west of US83 to the city limits.
Scott City residents are reminded that water use restrictions will once again take effect on May 1.
