An increase in the city’s property valuations, combined with a slowing inflation rate and a hefty carryover of funds has allowed the Scott City Council to reduce the tax levy by just over three mills in the proposed 2025 budget.
USD 466 okays 4.7% salary hike

Teachers in USD 466 (Scott County) will receive, on average, a 4.7% pay hike for the 2024-25 school year under an agreement adopted by the board of education and ratified by the teachers.
