After scoring five runs in the first two innings and quickly knocking Holcomb’s starting pitcher out of the game, it looked like Scott City was on their way to a big offensive night against the Longhorns.
In their opening tournament of the season, the Scott Community High School No. 2 doubles team claimed a second place finish in the Scott City Invitational on Monday.
A steady wind of 20-25 miles per hours didn’t provide ideal conditions to open the track season, but that didn’t prevent some young Scott Community High School thinclads from setting some impressive personal records at Larned on Tuesday.
With only 16 girls on the roster, depth won’t be a luxury for the Scott Community High School girls’ track squad.
