After squandering scoring opportunities three consecutive innings, Scott City once again found some late inning heroics in a double-header with Cimarron that had key implications for the Great West Activities Conference race and the regional tournament.
A strong pitching performance from Baylee Wolkensdorfer, combined with solid defense, contributed to Scott City’s sweep over Lakin in a non-league double-header last Friday.
The 88th annual Scott City Relays will be held on Tues., April 22, with the field events starting at 9:30 a.m.
