The Scott City Middle School wrestlers captured three gold medals in action at the Hugoton Invitational on Saturday.
Led by a state championship performance from Jack Thomas, the Scott City boys finished third in the Class 3A state cross-country championship held Saturday at Rim Rock Farm.
It wasn’t as though this year’s seniors hadn’t left a mark on the Scott Community High School cross-country program.
In his previous three games, Jarret Jurgens had been a silent member of the SCHS backfield.
