While the Scott City boys have a tournament title under their belt and are sitting in the No. 10 spot in the Class 3A state rankings, one question has lingered over the Beavers.
While a long season can take its toll on many wrestlers, Matthew Wheeler never seems to have a sub-par tournament.
Jackson Rumford makes his living in the paint, which is what one would expect from the 6-foot-6 senior.
“Anytime you can win on an opponent’s floor in this league you feel like you’ve stolen one,” says Scott City boy’s head coach Brian Gentry.
