Colborn and Zavier Trout, Scott City, posted a number of career best times during the Missouri Valley Short Course Districts held Feb. 15-16 in Wichita.
A tough road game at Hugoton along with a late night return home were reasons for SCHS boy’s coach Brian Gentry to be a little worried in preparation for the next day’s regular season finale against Cimarron.
Scott City matmen will be looking to punch their ticket to the state tournament when they compete in the Class 4A regioanl tournament at Abilene on Saturday.
