With every match and every team point critical in a tight race for the Great West Activities Conference championship, Alex Rodriguez was feeling added pressure in his final match of the day.
Far too often this season, the Scott City boys have been the victim of pressure defense. They were able to flip that script at Ulysses last Friday.
For 2-1/2 minutes, Scott City head coach Amy Felker saw her team play a winning brand of basketball that allowed them to overcome a seven point deficit and possibly force overtime against Cimarron on the home floor last Friday.
Scott City will be hosting the Great West Activities Conference wrestling tournament on Fri., Feb. 4, starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Scott Community Events Center.
