At 6-foot-5, there’s little doubt that Sage Stoecklein is a threat around the basket. However, his size may detract from one of his biggest strengths.
On the floor, the Scott City boys appeared to be dominating Hoisington early with their fullcourt pressure and their height advantage in the paint.
It’s still early in the season, but the Scott Community High School wrestling team didn’t waste any time sending a message that they aren’t a team to be overlooked.
There won’t be too many times this season that the Scott City girls will score 65 points and not come away with a win.
While the Scott City boys won’t play their opener until Friday at Hoisington, what head coach Brian Gentry has seen in practices so far has already made this a fun season.
